I recently purchased a Burberry trench coat. Thanks to my freakishly long arms, the coat looks comical on me.
In order to determine what length I need the sleeves, I came across this fine thread;

However, that answers only half of my question.
The sleeves appear to be the same length as my other trench coat that fits fine (hard to be certain, since the Burberry is raglan and the other has defined shoulders), so I think it is the removable lining that creates the problem (I'll know for certain once I remove the lining).
What should the length of the coat sleeves be considering that I will be wearing it both with and without the lining? Initial testing makes me think that there is a difference of 3/4 to a full inch if the lining is in or not.
