I just went on Skoak for the first time since late Spring. I know they raise Carmina 25% in the winter, but the boot prices now are startling. They are $50 above EB! They're shoe prices are at $450, I thought they had gone up to $425 from their low of about $335. The shoes are still priced between AE and EB, which is appropriate for their quality position between the two, but the boots 10% above EB?
Boy, were we spoiled by the pricing after the Euro's fall. I'm glad I listened to RogerP and built a boot collection while I was oblivious to how cheap they were. I thought they were obscenely expensive at the time. Now I long for the good old days. I guess I'll just have to "settle" for EB instead, (and only 15% for MTO).
