Not jury duty.
Yesterday I was in my local Dillard's looking for a polo shirt, the ones that I was looking at are basically in the "Tailored Department" and I overheard the salesman talking to a younger guy buying his first suit with his mother. The guy was 20-24 years old, and the salesman is going on about how he has 17+ years of retail experience, and how he really knows his stuff, so I start listening to the advice he is giving him...
He's telling the guy to really invest and put good money into a black suit, and a navy pinstripe suit. I couldn't believe that as first suits that is what the guy is suggesting. He goes on to suggest Hugo Boss shirts, because they come in really nice colors that will "pop" with his new suit.
I know the idea has been brought up before about giving people a business card that has the AAAC website address, and says something like "You are well dressed, and may enjoy this website", or "I saw you asking questions about dressing better, here's a great place to start"
Has anyone ever actually done this?
Have you ever told a stranger to visit this forum, or TOF?
