A staple of the gentleman's wardrobe, however I'll admit I've somewhat eschewed them in favour of coloured alternatives for daily work wear. White shirts would only be used for formal occasions (weddings, funerals etc).
I've seen some great ensembles in various threads of late that are making me reconsider this decision. Moreover, the approaching winter and intended use of v neck merino wool jumpers in various colours means white is useful for simple colour match and gives freedom for more extravagantly patterned ties.
At last count, I have about 45 shirts, however only two of them are white (a linen button down PRL and a classic Tommy Hilfiger). Perhaps I'll need to buy more!
1) How many white shirts do you own?
2) What is that as a proportion of your entire shirt collection?
3) Do you wear them on a regular basis?
4) Any particular preference with regards to brand, style?
