It was announced over the weekend that Fall 2015 will mark the end of the Thom Browne designed Black Fleece collection.

While I can't imagine the line was incredibly popular among the AAAC crowd, I feel it did have a few gems among it. For me, I found the BF rendition of the oxford shirt to be amazing. This shirt featured thick must-iron oxford cloth, mother of pearl buttons, a beautiful collar roll, USA made, and neat features like a locker loop.
The Black Fleece accessories I've handled including their ties were also made quite nicely and can certainly be worn without looking costumey.
Any thoughts now that we are wishing the brand goodbye, (or good riddance)?
Perhaps it will allow Brooks Brothers to focus more of their resources on more trad high-end offerings if they believe a market exists for them.
