Good afternoon all,
Im looking to purchase a pair of medium brown Oxfords. If money were no object, i'd get the St. Crispins Model 700 (http://ift.tt/1OdoUbm). Im looking for either wingtips with a plain toe or oxfords with no cap or wing at all and a plain toe. The important thing its a medium brown like this(http://ift.tt/1PbtdkB)
I cant seem to find what i want for under $1000 and ideally i'd like to spend $400ish. i love carmina too. particularly their rain last but those are almost $500. Also, you should know that i wear dress shoes at least 5 days/wk and currently have a pair of black full brogue wingtip oxfords and brown quarter brogue cap toe oxfords. I find derbys to be too casual and am not a fan of any broguery on the toe.
I like a bit of a pointed toe like the French style last such as Loding (http://ift.tt/1PbtdkD)
I've run into a bit of a wall here and thought i'd lean on the collective experience of these forums.
Thank you,
Roland
