I just got a pair of vintage Stuart McGuire boots on eBay, made in England (I believe by Sanders and Sanders, based on the font used in the size code).
They seem to be made of an exotic leather or embossed to look that way. The leather is very thick and fairly stiff. Looks like it might be elephant. Any thoughts?
