So, after searching I found some rather dated threads on D'Avenza Roma suits - all seem to indicate a lesser known brand with excellent detail and construction.
In searching eBay, it seems that D'Avenza Roma may have been recently purchased by Brunello Cucinelli. I see a good amount of D'Avenza Roma suits at pretty decent prices. All indicate full canvas construction, hand tailoring, etc.
Just thought I'd check to see if anyone has any recent experience with the brand? They were previously compared to Brioni and Kiton, admittedly a step below..but seemed like a small step. The prices I see them at are far below those of Brioni and Kiton on eBay (< 50%)...
