Hi folks -
The slight chill in the air in the Northeast this weekend got me thinking - my last pair of suede shoes wore through last fall (cheap J.Crew versions), and I find myself without any dark brown suede shoes to greet this fall. I don't know why, but I always think that the dark brown suede shoe is the perfect one for fall.
I'm considering replacements, but this is a shoe I don't really need - I just want something interesting. I took advantage of BB's sale to order three pairs in some different styles (below).
Haven't really thought of the use case; since I don't need them, I'm best able to justify them to myself if I can wear with a few outfits (casual + business casual). That would argue for the LWBs (either pair); but, I bought a pair of Alden LWBs in tobacco last year that I barely had a chance to wear yet.
Anyone have the potentially-Alden boots, or similar? Are they, as they look, best suited to jeans or at best chinos? Can they stretch into the business casual world for a suitable cold fall day?
