What are the current thoughts on a correct inseam length? When I bought slacks 10 years ago, I was told that the pants should be long enough that only an inch of your shoes is showing. Today, I am noticing men wearing slacks with the entire shoe showing, but also down where only an inch is showing. I used to think the inseam of the entire shoe showing was referred to as "flooders" and not very professional. Has the trend changed? I only ask this because as I continue to shop for slacks/trousers, I want to make sure I am getting the proper inseam length.
