Suitable colors of shoe cream

I got myself a couple of new shoes and I need help picking the "right" color Saphir cream

– Loake Pimlico, Dark Brown
– Allen Edmonds, Brown Burnished

I'm looking for a cream to cover up blemishes and minimize the change of color of the shoes.
