Bought this BB 1" Leather Belt Strap on sale a while back. Handsome Italian made calfskin to go with my Trafalgar engine-turned plaque buckle. Unfortunately it does not stay taut and constantly have to readjust which quickly becomes a huge nuisance. Never had this problem with my Trafalgar glove leather straps, so not sure if this leather is too supple and smooth for its own good but am now considering selling it to my great disappointment if no answer is found.
Anyone know of a household remedy (hopefully one that doesn't ruin the belt?) Was thinking of trying this rubbing alcohol/vinegar method on the leather spot where the plaque goes over it, but open to more suggestions.

Loosens up by itself 3 seconds later.
Walking around a bit. Indecent exposure. Sexual Harassment. Fired. Welfare.
