Hi all.
My name is Lee and I joined the forum recently. My main passion is watches but recently I have developed an interest in good quality shoes, mainly English shoes, starting off with barker, loake and moving up to Crockett and Jones and more recently Alfred Sargents. I have just bought a pair of AS double monks and want to (at the advice of Sarah at a fine pair of shoes) get a TOPY done on the soles to help protect them and make them last longer. The only problem is i don't have a clue where I could get them done. I live in Birmingham and really want to find a good cobbler I can trust to do a good job. I've heard horror stories of people's shoes being butchered by bad cobblers and don't want them to be ruined.
I live in Birmingham but frequently travel back home to Gloucester/Cheltenham (where I'm moving back to soon)
Does anyone know of anywhere I could take them?
