Too Many Shoes - A Two-Year Project to Build a Shoe Collection

:happy:Two years ago, I was frustrated. I was one of thse people who always had just one or two business casual cemented shoes and the darned things kept falling apart. Anyway, I started buying shoes on eBay and pretty soon I was buying ones at thrift stores to sell. I ploughed about half my profits into buying shoes for myself and within two years, I've spent about $4,000 building my shoe collection, which is fairly insane. But as of today, I am done. I have 35 pairs of fine shoes, all made in USA or England save for one Spanish, two Italian, and one Chinese, as well as a handful of outdoor functional footwear. I have some vintage shoes (including exotic leathers). I will never need to buy another pair of shoes in my lifetime, at least until it's time for orthopedic shoes. There remain a couple elusive styles I've yet to find, but overall, my shoe-buying spree is over. Here are the results:
