Hi all -
Noticed a few dry spots on my new Peal cordovan boots. It's not widespread, but there are some rough patches here and there.
My understanding is that for cordovan more than calf, dryness can quickly lead to serious issues (and also often results in rain spots). Any truth?
My solution based on what I've read here, and what I've done with calf, is to (very lightly) apply reno in the trouble spots and let it soak in. Right answer? Should I be concerned about any color loss using reno on new shell? Love the burgundy shade and would hate to lighten it more quickly than will happen naturally.
Thanks for your advice!
