I am trying to thin the heard a little and wondering if my black AE Carlyles can do the job of my black PA's.
I wear a suit infrequently, maybe 6 times a year, for weddings, or the very rare occasion that I make a court appearance. When I do wear a suit, I most often end up wearing my burgundy shell PA's. I've also worn the Carlyles to a few black tie functions. I don't think I've worn the black PA's in over a year.
Would wearing the black Carlyles on the odd occasion that I really need to wear black shoes with a suit be weird? The only circumstance where I can imagine wearing the black PA's at this point is a funeral or job interview.
