Brooks is having a sale right now on MTM. I can get 25% off plus 15% for using the Brooks CC.
Their super 120's is $1600 with 40% off so around $1,000. Super 150's is a bit over $1200. I'm a weird size, nothing off the rack fits me (Chest 39, waste 36.... you get the idea). So I need to go MTM and I know there are lots of online options, but I want some good customer service and I like their styles so I'm going with them. It seems like a decent sale.
So I need some advice on what to get.
Any color ideas? This will be my main suit. I have a few other suits, but they barely fit. I've let them out and altered them as much as I can. My best one is a hickey from off 5th that is a dark blue. I would be wearing this suit to weddings, occasionally to work, funerals, parties, etc.
What fabric? I'm thinking super 130's.
Any other things I should ask for? Vents and the like? I'm pretty clueless here.
The salesman is recommending two pairs of pants. Is that a good idea?
I'm going to meet with the master tailor this week.
I'm set on everything else. I have two pairs of Santoni's, lots of nice ties, and a bunch of brooks shirts I love. They fit me the best.
