Anyone have any issues with Allen Edmonds quality control, particularly with online orders? I am on the 4th exchange with a pair of Long Branch boots. I have had issues with each pair.
First: several significant fingernail-like scratches.
Second: Huge discolored area the size of a tennis ball on the lower, inner side of one boot. Almost like a watermark.
Third: actually sent the wrong size - did not look them over closely.
Fourth: couple of thin, long scratches and a severe wrinkled area of leather on the side of the boot about an inch long. Creates a bit of a "ledge."
For as much money as they cost I would not expect this level of irregularity in QC. I will say that each time AE customer service has been very good. AE just cannot seem to send me a pair of undamaged boots.
