The Toronto Ripley's Aquarium has these jazz nights one Friday a month. Last year while I was at school, a buddy and I went. I wore a pair of seersucker trousers, a blue dress shirt, school tie, suspenders and dress shoes. I didn't wear a jacket because it was really hot. I think I left my seersucker jacket at the coat check. I thought I looked really "jazzy" although it was more of a chance to drink ginger ale and look at the fish. My buddy wore a thrifted jacket, jeans and a tee shirt.
If I go again this year in June or July, should I pack a suit just to do this? Assuming my friend wears the same thing, is it worth wearing say, a dark suit, necktie, white shirt, shined shoes, etc. How about brown shoes, a pair of khaki slacks, a blue blazer, white shirt, bow tie and a porkpie hat? I could in theory, wear the blazer, the slacks and the shirt to multiple events, but a porkpie hat might not be worth packing.

Another option is a tweed blazer, blue slacks, a blue shirt, blue school tie and Chelsea boots?
