I'd appreciate opinions on winter trench-style coats (e.g., actually made of wool or cashmere, not just a cotton trench with a lining). Any thoughts on a trench-style coat in winter? Here is one that caught my eye at Burberry: http://ift.tt/1Ocsz5R
I already have a light colored, standard cotton trench coat from Burberry for my spring wear (which looks like the same cut as this one, Kensington). My primary winter coat is a long, navy, single-breasted overcoat, so I'm looking for something to supplement that. I was originally thinking a peacoat, but thought the longer, trench-style look was more interesting. Anyone have experience with a cashmere or wool trench coat, or the Burberry winter trenches in particular? Good addition to a winter rotation or is it an odd look?
