I am thinking of buying 2 custom shirts made of following shirt fabrics from Thomas Mason :
White 'Thomas Mason' 140's Broadcloth sku: TM224
Light Blue End on End 'Thomas Mason' 140's Broadcloth sku: TM229
My tailor (he has nice reviews and he is v good...I vetted him out already) told me he will charge me $145 for the labor per shirt if I buy the cloth since it is a high-end fabric and I am the first one to ask for it (Yeah...right !!...I am so flattered now :surprised: ) and he does not stock this fabric. He thinks, this will be at least $100 cheaper per shirt than buying custom made shirt M + L.
What you think - is it worth going this route? Also, any suggestions as to where to buy the cloth and how much (I wear Brooks Brothers Milano fit 42s suit and 16" collar Milano fit dress shirt)?. He also told me Thomas Mason has even higher thread count (200) shirt fabric which is even better than this 140's fabric BUT he said he has no idea which one. Can you please tell me the sku # for 200's TM fabric?
