Shoe Care

So, after researching on YouTube for some time, I (think) I've found the methods I like best for polishing my shoes, however there are a few questions I have. Take a look at what I'm talking about:

The Crockett & Jones Method

The Shoe Snob Method

These are the methods I like. These are the questions I have:

Crockett & Jones:

1. Neutral Cream. What is this? Is this the same thing as what they call "conditioner" in the Shoe Snob method, below?
2. Colored Wax. Do they mean a Cream like the one in 1, above, except one that corresponds to the color of the shoe?
3. Cream on the sole. Is this the same neutral cream he applied on 1, above?

Shoe Snob:

1. Conditioner. Is this the same as the neutral cream used in the C&J method, step 1, above?
2. Cream Polish. Again, is this the same thing as wax? (See C&J method, step 2, above.)
3. Wax Polish. What is this? Is this the same thing as the Cream Polish in 2, above (SS method)?

I wish sometimes they clarified exactly what it is they are using. It can be confusing for us, beginners.
