saphir pommadier cream black cordavan - Did I order the wrong one?

I ordered saphir pommadier cordavan black show polish. i am not sure if is exclusively for cordovan shoes or it is just the name of it? either way, can i use it on my black AE shoes? is there another one i should have ordered?
