Over the past 2 weeks RogerP and I have been working on a GMTO project that we wanted to offer to our fellow AAAC members. Call it the unofficial AAAC shoe if you well. Ultimately we wanted something high quality that would be super versatile and could be used from casual occasions all the way to an odd trouser/odd jacket combination. A chukka from Enzo Bonafe is what ultimately came to mind.
This particular model Enzo Bonafe chukka is the fairly sleek 3722 model and is on the 74945 last. If you're curious, the 74945 last is not as chiseled as the 946, not as elongated as the 803, nor as bulbous as the 363MOD. We think it will be perfect for this chukka. We chose Vitello Etrusco as the leather because of its amazing color and versatility and the chukka will have Dainite soles. I hope RogerP will chime in about the quality of Bonafe. I have 2 shoes by Bonafe and find them to be outstanding and higher quality than Carmina or any of the US makers.
For an Enzo Bonafe GMTO to proceed with Skoaktiebolaget we need 3 participants. Skoak takes a 50% deposit up front with the remainder paid when the shoes are complete and ready to ship. The full details, and pics, of our chukka project are below and we hope you'll consider joining in. Please PM myself or RogerP, or post in this thread with any questions or if you are interested.
Enzo Bonafe Model 3722 Chukka
74945 last
Hand welted
Vitello Etrusco
Dainite Soles (with brown edge finishing on the leather midsole)
Natural Lining
No medallion
No Norvegese
Braided leather laces (with an additional plain set if possible)
Price: US$570
Here is a picture of the 3722 model for reference. This project will not have the Novegese welting shown in this example picture and the 74945 is more rounded than the one shown below.

Here is a picture of what we had in mind in terms of the Dainite with brown edge finishing. Coincidentally, this example boot is also in Vitello Etrusco:

Here's a picture of Vitello Etrusco in real life from my own personal collection. I must say that I think the color is fantastic. It's reddish brown IRL and will go with basically everything. I will say that Skoak's lighting is better than mind so the shoes aren't quite as dark as in the picture below:
