I haven't bought a suit yet(likely will try out the JA MTM option if things don't fit), just trying to plan things out for buying the appropriate size ties and dress shirts for when I do get one, rather than blindly wasting money in trial and error.
I don't want to "cover up" an improper shirt fit as I do with my cardigans and sweaters. The poofiness/untucked nature is a main concern, can this be solved by those clip things you attach underneath your trousers to your socks?
I still need to learn about knots, proper width ties, length of ties etc(does the type of knot matter a lot for this? Four-In-Hand vs. Windsor etc), I know nothing about them, especially considering I want them to go no further than the waist of my trousers. I have a Moore's, The Bay as well as this place.

My collar size is 14.5, height 5'9, weight 135 pounds, 34 inch chest, 32-33 inch waist(not 100% certain) 21 years old(mentioning this due to others saying I might get pudgy around the waist in the future, and for budget, it might affect your recommendations).
Any ideas on where to start in terms of brands or some other place? I like gingham shirt colours the most personally. I don't like the skinny tie look either, looks very casual to me.
