I have just come from my tailor.
A new RTW suit has come with belt loops. I much prefer the cleanliness of side adjusters/tabs of the buckled variety.
I asked my tailor whether an alteration could be made accordingly to which he responded that it was not possible. He is due to remove 5" of material from the unfinished trousers.
Is he correct or is he not capable? If the latter, can any recommendation be put forward for a tailor in the north of England who will be able to assist.
