Hello forum members. I am brand new here and this is my first post. I've read threads here several times when I was looking for style input. What got me to sign-up and post is a problem that I couldn't find an answer to.
I have a new suit jacket that came back from the dry cleaner with one of the shoulder pads dislocated. It's pushed in towards the collar which creates an unsightly bump.
The suit was on clearance for $250, down from the regular price of $750. I have already received a credit on my account for the $250, so I could just toss the suit.
However, I really like it and would like to know if there is an easy fix, or if it is worth it to even try.
I understand that detaching sleeves and re-attaching them can be tricky. Maybe it can be opened up from the inside through the lining and repositioned?
Here are some photos. Two photos are different views of the dislocated pad, and the other shows the shoulder that is ok for comparison.
