I'm planning to buy some shirts from Mercer and Sons in the next month or so. After reading a number of the posts in the forums I thought I would solicit advice from other forum members regarding these shirts before I submit my purchase order to them.
The three most frequent comments I saw in the posts I read regarding Mercer shirts are that 1) they are cut rather full, 2) to get the seven button front placket, and 3) the sleeves generally tend to be about a half inch too long (supposedly to allow for shrinkage).
What advice would other can Mercer shirt owners on this forum offer me so that my first purchase from them is a good experience and that the shirts are a proper fit?
