Need a suit for a corporate (mid management equivalent role) interview

Hello friends,

I hope you are doing well. I recently got the opportunity to go to a corporate (strategy consulting) interview.

I worked in strategy consulting for several years, until a few years ago, when I returned to academia for a couple of years for academic research.

I am in my late 30s. I think I am size 42R or 44R

I need to purchase a suit for the interview, and I need it soon. I am located in Houston, TX. I have been fortunate to have worn several good suits, many bespoke, when I was in corporate jobs. Now, I am restarting my corporate career in many ways.

I am looking for advice on:

1) Which retail store should I purchase a ready made suit at? I need it within a week. I don't have a big budget at this time, I would like to keep it under 1000, preferably around 500. I want to try to avoid suits with Polyester blends.

2) Any suggestions on color/style, etc. I presume I need to stick with dark blue, or maybe dark grey?

3) I also need a pair of black shoes. I noticed that both Cole Haan and the Allen Edmonds outlet have some sales on now, should I opt for one of these or any other thoughts?
