Blazer options

After perusing a brooks brothers store during the last 30% Corporate sale, I decided I might pick up the 1818 blazer during the next Corporate sale. I have a couple of issues though. One is, I am not crazy about the logo on the buttons. I am sure I can find a different set to be sewn on while getting the blazer worked on. I didn't like the it it was only half canvassed as well. I know there is the Golden Fleece blazer that is fully canvassed and that is an option (I like the GF blazer buttons even less!). When both of these blazers ($648 and $1300 full price) are 30% off during the corporate sale, is that a good deal compared to what is out there? (Samuelsohn, HF, etc.) I would like to keep it close to the $700 price. Thanks Gents.
