Recently dropped a suit at the local dry cleaners as I needed it for a dinner later that week. Picked up the suit, threw it in suitcase and jetted off. Got to hotel and changed and the trousers were literally TWO TO THREE INCHES shorter than when I dropped it off. Waist was much tighter as well. Since I was only there for the dinner it was all I had packed (learned a lesson) and had flown in more casual khakis.
This suit was nothing special...JAB but still. I am still fighting with the cleaners over this. They are saying they just dry cleaned it but there is no way. My contention is someone laundered and dried it (along with the other khakis I had dropped off)...
Anyone had this happen before? I understand getting fatter over the week but taller????
