Hi, I bought a shirt with French cuffs a couple of years ago and I've only worn it and had it laundered 2-3 times. It's an OTR Pronto Uomo but it's really well done. The French cuff construction is very supple and feels luxurious. The cuff can easily be wadded up but then folded back into it's proper placement in perfect form without any wrinkles:

Here's a French cuff from a custom shirt by comparison:

The French cuff on the custom shirt is stiffer and not as supple or elegant. Any guesses as to why this might be? Is it possible that this may be due to the fusing materials or process? I'm wondering if there's any special information I can pass along to my shirtmaker to make the cuffs on the custom shirt as supple as the cuffs on the Pronto Uomo?
