First time buying formal shoes, went with Meermin black oxfords with captoe, overall pleased with the communication, shoe quality and all. However when shoes arrived yesterday, I noticed this:

My local shoe-repair guy say it's some extra wax there, something went off, but it's no biggie and he could fix it easily. What do you think, should I complain to Meermin? (Can't ask for a reship since I need the shoes this weekend)
