Just came across an old photo of Baron and Baroness de Neufligne on their visit to Ireland (from France), in the summer of 1912.
The Baron's jacket has an unusual placement of the ticket pocket.

Perhaps this was a French style at the time, or the evolving ticket pocket slowly making it's way to it's more usual position.
Just throwing it out there as a piece of historical trivia.
