What is it called when the sole of a shoe is narrow so that you cannot see the welt or the outline of the sole when viewing a shoe from above?

Sorry I couldn't even think of how to construct a search to find the answer to this question...

When some shoes are described as being sleek or elegant, I noticed that what often makes them look this way is that the the welt and soled are tucked under the bottom of the uppers so that you can't see them when viewing the shoe from above. Is there a name for this feature? I noticed that shoemakers like Alden and Allen Edmonds tend to have thick welts and soles that protrude out from under the shoes, giving them a chunky, utilitarian looks, whereas Edward Green and John Lobb shoes have the welts and soles tucked away under the shoes, giving them a tidy, fastidious look...

I've learned what channeled stitching and beveled waists are. What is the term for goodyear-welt-tucked-away-hidden-from-view style?
