I've got a new suit from Black Lapel online and am looking for fit advice. It's for business use.
Concerns:
Jacket length. It seems and feels too short, particularly when viewed from the sides and back. I think my shape/posture does not help the appearance in the back.
Waist area. I am not sure if this is a button stance or suppression issue, but the bottom of the jacket pulls open when buttoned too much for my taste, such that a triangle of shirt/tie is visible. Is there an appropriate standard here, and is there a fix?
Sleeves. Slightly tight when trying to 'make a phone call.' The ripples appearing in photos 2 and 4 aren't usually prevalent; perhaps a result of my photo pose or my dress shirt underneath.
Shoulders. Close, maybe slightly too big?
I can order a remake if the jacket length is irreparably short. If not, I will surely have a tailor fix up the pants (seat, length, maybe thighs?) and collar roll.
Any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated.
