In the past couple of years, I have started to become deluged with menswear catalogs from mail-order outfits. In the past two days days alone I have received catalogs from the following operations: Bill's Khakis, Paul Frederick, 32 Bar Blues, True Measure of a Man by J.L. Powell (32 Bar and True Measure share the same address in the charming coastal town of Carpinteria), Williams & Kent, Cooper Jones Supply, Samuel Windsor. Most but not all of these outfits strike me as being pretty high-dollar.
I really feel rather sorry for these operations that send me all these catalogs containing merchandise that I almost certainly will never buy (except for Bill's). They certainly cost a fair amount to produce. Do any of the rest of you feel such twinges of remorse and guilt about getting so many catalogs of this sort?
Catalog Guilt?
