Shorts advice needed

I think shorts are very difficult to pull especially for someone used to suits, sportcoats etc.

For hot summer days, I prefer plain-coloured linen shorts; however, having the right fit is not so easy.

So, what kinds of shorts do you have in your wardrobe?
