Patterned wool slacks & shirt pairing

Bought some wool slacks today (weight loss! yay!). I realized when I went to put outfits together I don't have any solid dress shirts that fit, short of one medium blue. I'm guessing these patterns clash, but tell me if I'm over conscious. The BB extra slim shirt seems billowy as well. The second pic is another pair of trousers with a mini plaid pattern. They're navy but it's hard to tell. I assume those would need a solid shirt too.
