I bought a pair of AE Yorktowns a couple months ago. I've only worn then 5 times or so, and in both shoes they have developed a noticeable crease in the captoe. Normally, I don't mind creasing, but this one looks weird, and I wouldn't have expected it to occur that far into the captoe. I have been diligent about keeping the shoes in shoe trees, and I've used Saphir Renovatuer and AE premium shoe polish to try and suppress the wrinkles, but the discoloration doesn't seem to get any better.
Is this kind of crease normal? Or should I contact Allen Edmonds and ask them what's up with these?
They might be just a tad too long for me, but the fit is generally good, and I wouldn't have even thought about the size being an issue if not for the creasing leading me to wonder what could be wrong.

Weird crease in the captoe of newish Allen Edmonds Yorktown. Normal?
