Can anyone comment on the practicality of the 8" versus 10" LL Bean duck boots? The 8" model, which I believe is the more "classic" one, is severely backordered. The 10" basically costs the same but is available much sooner.
Is the 10" going to be a bit uncomfortable for basic winter use? I don't need them for hunting or backwoods stuff, just for walking around downtown Chicago in the messy winters and maybe bad rain storms the rest of the year.
