I'm getting a bespoke, navy suit and wanted to get your opinions on whether I should get a peak or notch lapel. On the one hand I like how a peak lapel looks on me. On the other hand, I wonder if the peak lapel is starting to get overdone (and ruined by people who wear weirdly shaped lapels on poor fitting OTR suits) -- I sometimes find it refreshing to see people wearing notch lapels. Is it just me?
For some more information that might be helpful:
I'm 5'7 with a slender but toned build. All of my suits have notch lapels except for my one bespoke charcoal suit. And I'm not planning on wearing it to work as I have a business casual dress code. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
