Let's not forget, the artist (who was not heterosexual, which is an affront to some Christians) was, presumably, paid a fair amount of money for the original work--he profited from religion, which some might find blasphemous. SG, on the other hand, was paid nothing. I'm just sayin'.

End of the day, my favorite Christians are the ones who are most tolerant.

I am not familiar with this piece of "art" (clicking the quote above should take one to the referenced thread, the Omega Speedmaster in the flight muesum, to which someone responded to the mention of the display being an advertisement with an image of the Last Supper with a McDonald's menu on the wall in the back) but it seems pretty damned clear that the message is that the body and blood of Christ is being compared to junk food, fast food. This is derogatory and devoid of merit. It is discriminatory political propaganda.

I prefer vigilance, lest one find all that they stand for diminished by the thousand tiny cuts.
