Long time lurker, very occasional poster.
I have an old pair of Allen Edmonds Sanford. The piece of the shoe behind my heel (where I slide in) has 'failed' internally.
The shoe still maintains its shape fine, but when I insert my foot it pushes something down in the material behind my heel.
If I reach into the shoe I can fell lumps in the back of it (and on one side) corresponding to the issue.
Is this something a refracting would fix? When I read the description it talks about the heel, but I suspect they don't mean the part I'm having the issue with.
If not is it something a cobbler could repair for a reasonable price, or do I just need to throw this pair away?
Any other shoes I'd have ditched long ago, I just have this idea these should be repairable since they are AE. I may be overly optimistic:)
