G. Bruce Boyer has had a new book published. As an owner of his previous books, I look forward to adding it to my collection.

I've enjoyed Mr. Boyer's writing for well over 35 years. And for any unfamiliar with what he has to offer, I would describe his approach as meditative rather than prescriptive. He has both enormous depth and breadth of sartorial knowledge and he offers it in context with an equal understanding of living life.
So if you're looking for someone to tell you how many pairs of shoes you need, or what color tie to wear with your white shirt, this may not be your cup-of-tea. And it would be not just surprising, but disappointing, if after so many years he didn't treat areas already once visited, and if in revisiting them that he may not have gained additional insight.
But if want to spend some time with an authentic man who writes beautifully while he shares the richness of his sartorial knowledge, it will be time that is well rewarded.
