I have invested quite a bit of money on good shoes over the past year, and I'm concerned about the havoc snow/ice/slush/salt will have on my Allen Edmonds/Alden shoes. I don't want to destroy them on my 5 block walk from the garage to my job in NYC during the winter...
What are you gentlemen doing? Galoshes? Boots for the walk with good shoes in your bag?
