Extreme novice at shining up my own shoes here. Tried to polish up my tan derbys last night, and wound up with spots and streaks of polish left all over, even after repeated attempts at buffing out with a cloth. I followed directions and let the polish dry for 10-15 minutes, then brushed thoroughly. Pic is within.
Was going to try cleaning with saddle soap tonight to get back to an original state. Will that work? And if so, any tips on how to keep the same thing from happening again? Was using standard Kiwi brown polish.
Appreciate any advice!
