I've decided to maybe buy some slippers, but not for reasons more than I have had hardwood floors on slab now for the past 5 years, and my feet just can't take the beating anymore. Requisite would be lots and lots of padding. Just for tooling around, (or sliding around) inside the house. I have tried on cheap pairs during the holiday sales, but they are just too flimsy to be of any use to me. Are the LL Bean Double Soles any good for this!
