I have a pair of Church's Fighting Seal shoes in black that need resoling. I also have a pair of red Dainite soles for my cobbler to attach to a pair of shoes. I was going to use them on my walnut wingtips, but thinking they would look cool on the Church's.
The shoes I have look like these, but with what I consider a much more subtle and pleasing grain pattern:

The look I'm considering would be something like this:

It's a jarring look, but I kinda like it. On the other hand, my personal style is generally a bit more reserved. Decisions, decisions.
