Now that the going refurbishment price is $100 at Quoddy, are these becoming a borderline throwaway item like Sperrys and LL Beans?
i guess that $100 is better than the $250 new price, but for me, the refurb option is starting to look questionable.
Note that I have never used this service, so I can't comment on how well the reworked shoes turn out. I just have two pair that need some freshening and I am somewhat hesitant to send them in at that price.
What do you folks think?
